This blog is a result of my friend James K convincing me that I should document all of the cool stuff that I’ve been working on with PCBs, surface mount, BGAs, FPGA and soft-core processors.  I hope someone finds this useful.  Thanks for the encouragement, James!

My goal is to provide plain-English explanations, usable templates and pre-built examples for topics that interest me to enthuse and inspire those who follow.

I’m currently focussed on FPGAs, PIC32 and Atmel SAM microcontrollers, Linux and programming languages, Internet of Things (IOT), communications and security.
